How Do You Calculate eDPI?

Riot Games developed Valorant. It is a first-person shooter game. Valorant's agent skills are very important. However, a Valorant player must have good aim. While there are many factors that can affect a player’s in-game objectives and goals, eDPI holds the greatest value. Crosshair placement is key to achieving FPS game-winning targets.

This article will cover eDPI settings. It will also explain how to find Valorant's eDPI settings for your preferred style of play. Crosshair placement is an important consideration when you want to achieve your best aim in FPS games.

How to use the eDPI calculation?

Let's suppose you want to set the exact same eDPI value for your friend. Here are the steps to use the edpi calculator.

For example, DPI 1000 is recommended and a sensitivity 0.8 is suggested.

The sensitivity type is the one you choose for the game. decimal sensitivity for CSGO.

Calculate the eDPI of your friends using the formula below:

eDPI = DPI sensitivity = 1000 0.8% = 800

You should check your settings, such as DPI 500.

The formula below will calculate your desired sensitivity.

Sensitivity = DPI = 800 / 500 = 1.

That's it. So that's how to calculate your eDPI settings. You have no excuses. You can no longer blame your win on your friend's better settings.

Optimal settings in Valorant

Before we continue, it's important to remember that there isn't a "best sensitivity". It all depends upon personal preference and hardware. Although most Valorant pros recommend keeping eDPI between 200-400 to begin with, it is best to experiment with eDPI values based purely on your requirements.

What's Fortnite's Best Graphics Card?

Below is the list of some best graphics card for fortnite that I selected from my testing. It is a balanced mix of expensive and less-expensive cards. You can't go wrong when you consider that Fortnite requires an Intel HD 4000 minimum graphics card.

Gigabyte Geforce Geforce GTX 1050T OC Low Profile

Specifications

  • Nvidia GeForce 1050 Ti Chip

  • 4GB DDR5 V-RAM

  • 1328 MHz Base Clock Speed

  • 1442 MHz Boost Clock Speed

  • 1x DisplayPort, 3x HDMI and 1x DVI

  • PCIe 3.0 x16 socket

About the Nvidia GeForce GT 1005 Ti Chip

  • The Thermal Design Power (TDP), which is 75W, means that it doesn’t require additional power.

  • 768 Shading units

  • 48 Texture Mapping units

The Gigabyte GTX 1050 Ti has a slim profile, at 167 millimeters long. Although it requires a PCIex16 slot, it is less likely that it will block any other components on your motherboard.

This card's base clock speed is 1328MHz and boosts clock speed to 1442MHz. Fortnite runs at 150 FPS on average on 1080p medium settings.

The Gigabyte GTX 1050 Ti can be easily overclocked thanks to its XTREME Engine Utilities interface. You can monitor clock speeds, voltage, and fan performance to adjust them quickly.

MSI RX Vega 64 AIR Boost

Specifications

  • AMD Radeon RX Vega 64

  • 8GB GDDR5 V-RAM

  • 1272 MHz Base Clock Speed

  • 1575 MHz Boost Clock Speed

  • 1x HDMI, 2x DisplayPort

  • PCIe 3.0 x16 socket

About the AMD Radeon RX Vega64 chip

  • The Thermal Design Power (TDP), a rating of 295W, is quite high. I recommend that you purchase a power supply with a rating greater than 600W to use this graphics card.

  • 4086 Shading units

  • 256 Texture mapping Units

AMD's Radeon RX Vega 64 GPU chips are quite powerful. First, it has impressive clock speeds. It can run Fortnite at around 220 FPS on 1080p Medium settings. Epic is able to run at around 128 FPS.

8GB V-RAM gives you greater flexibility in choosing games. Not only can you play e-sports like Fortnite or PUBG, but also Triple-A titles like Resident Evil and Doom Eternal.

One thing that I find most impressive about the RX Vega 64, is its high level of Shading and Texture Mapping Units. 4086 and 256 are respectively.

ASUS ROG Strix RTX 2060

Specifications

  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060

  • 8GB GDDR6 V-RAM

  • 1365 MHz Base Clock Speed

  • 1750 MHz Boost Clock Speed

  • 2x HDMI and 2x DisplayPort

  • PCIe 3.0 x16 socket

About the NVIDIA GeForce RadX 2060 Chip

  • The TDP (Thermal Design Power) is 160W, which is quite high. It is recommended that a power supply unit of at least 425W be used.

  • 1920 Shading units

  • 120 Texture Mapping units

GeForce RTX 2060 by Asus delivers performance comparable to that of the MSI RX Vega 64 AIR Boost. This RTX2060 has 8GB of VRAM and a faster GDDR6 chip.

GDDR6 is twice as fast as GDDR5, but it draws faster and uses less energy.

ASUS GeforceRTX 2060 boasts a high boost speed of 1710MHz. This allows for impressive Fornite benchmarks. When the game runs on Medium settings at 1080p, you can get an average FPS of around 273.

XFX Radeon Radeon RX570 RSXX

Specifications

  • AMD Radeon 570

  • 8GB GDDR5 V-RAM

  • 1168 MHz Base Clock Speed

  • 1286 MHz Boost Clock Speed

  • 1x DVI/1x HDMI, 1x DisplayPort

  • PCIe 3.0 x16 socket

About the AMD Radeon RX570 chip

  • The TDP (Thermal Designs Power) is 120 W. This is quite high. A power supply unit of at least 350W is recommended.

  • 2048 Shading units

  • 128 Texture Mapping units

The XFX Radeon RX 570 RS graphics card is relatively affordable. First, it has a base speed of 1168MHz and a boosts the clock 1286MHz. This allows for close to 200 FPS when you play Fortnite at 1080p medium.

This graphics card is equipped with XFX True Clock software. It's basically an overclock optimizer. It can communicate directly with your PC's physical hardware, so it can read the potential clock speed of your graphics card at any given moment. By relying upon real-time data, it ensures that your GPU does not get overexerted.
